Katrina Halili


Katrina Halili (born Maria Katrina Iren Pe Halili on January 4, 1986) is a Filipina actress, commercial model and music producer. She made her screen debut via StarStruck, but did not gain popularity until playing the antagonist roles in Darna, Majika and MariMar and becoming the protagonist in One Night Only, Gagambino and Magdusa Ka.

Katrina Halili is an alumna of the StarStruck talent search and the cover girl of leading magazines such as FHM and Maxim Philippines. She was voted as FHM Philippines' sexiest woman for the year 2006 and bagged the title yet again in 2007. She is the first StarStruck contestant to top the FHM Philippines' 100 Sexiest list and the only Filipina celebrity to have won the title twice in a row. She is a three-time FHM Philippines covergirl.[1] With 123,000 votes, she placed 2nd in 2008 next to Marian Rivera.


In May 2009, a sex tape showing Halili and Dr. Hayden Kho, who was then in a relationship with Dr. Vicky Belo, was distributed over the internet without her consent. The dispute lasted so long and resulted in a number of legal actions and with some endorsements being taken away from her.[2][3][4][5][6]

After months of barely any work or popularity caused by the sex tape incident, she was chosen as the antagonist of GMA 7's Philippine TV adaptation of Rosalinda.

She is rumored to play the lead role in the TV Remake of Carlo J. Caparas's Angela Markado. She was also part of the 2009 cast of Darna together with Dennis Trillo. She played Valentina's fully-grown younger sister Serpina.  

Marian Rivera


Marian Rivera (born Marian Gracia Rivera on August 12,[1] 1984 [2][3] in Madrid, Spain) is a Filipina actress and occasional singer-dancer. Her first TV role came in 2005 via TAPE Inc.'s afternoon drama, Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako in the lead that was aired in GMA Network. In 2007 she was cast for the title role in the Philippine remake of MariMar. She released two studio albums: Marian Rivera Dance Hits and Retro Crazy sold 75,000 copies.[4] She currently signed with GMA Network.

Rivera first starred in afternoon soap operas for TAPE Inc. and GMA Network including Kung Mamahalin Mo Lang Ako, Agawin Mo Man Ang Lahat and Pinakamamahal. She acted in Enteng Kabisote 2: Okay Ka Fairy Ko: The Legend Continues.[6] Later GMA Network cast her into mother roles for the afternoon Philippine-Malaysian drama Muli.[7]
Rivera formally signed a contract in GMA Network, Inc. and starred the title role of MariMar, which premiered on August 13, 2007. Later, Rivera was awarded in GMMSF Inc. in the 38th Box-Office Entertainment Awards.[8]
In 2008, Rivera played the role of Dyesebel[9] which aired on April 28, 2008. She appeared in Ang Babaeng Hinugot Sa Aking Tadyang.[10]
In 2010, Rivera, starred in the TV remake of Endless Love.[11] 
In 2011, Rivera, starred in GMA Network's series Amaya.


In 2006, Rivera signed a contract for Regal Films andwas cast in the horror movie, Pamahiin.[12]
Rivera starred in two MMFF movie entries: Bahay Kubo and Desperadas.[13] In 2008, Rivera starred in the romantic comedy My Best Friend's Girlfriend[14][dead link]
In 2009, she then played the role of Nieves, The Engkanto Slayer, in a title episode of Shake, Rattle & Roll X, an MMFF entry. She worked with singer and songwriter Ogie Alcasid and the Desperadas cast, for the sequel, Desperadas 2. She also starred in the horror movie, Tarot.
In early 2010, she appeared in You to Me Are Everything, a romantic comedy film.
